Background
I hail from Ranchi, a town in India which has in the past years risen to prominence as the capital of the new Jharkhand state. While I was growing up, Ranchi was the proverbial sleepy little town, with clean air and greenery all around. I spent my undergraduate years in Kanpur, living on the beautiful yet remote campus of IIT Kanpur. I currently live in Los Angeles, and go to school at the University of Southern California.
Interests
I love reading books, and watching movies. I am also fond of playing obscure computer games, that most people have not heard of. I like to cook in my spare time, and try out new recipes on my poor unsuspecting roommates.
I also love the outdoors, and try to go on as many hikes as my sedentary lifestyle permits. I've tried my hand at sky-diving and bungee-jumping and found both experiences to be quite exhilarating. I hope to go scuba diving at some point in the future.
